Them old tree stumps in your yard may seem harmless, but the fact is they can become a burden in time. Here’s 6 reasons we recommend getting them removed.

#1. SAFTEY: playing with the kids/pets in the yard is fun, having an old rotten stump cause a trip hazard and a trip to the hospital is no fun. 

#2. PEST: old rotten tree stumps can be a breeding ground for all types of insets/pest.  They draw in termites close to your home then your home could be destroyed by termites. 

#3. DISEASE: Mortality of young trees is most likely caused by one of the three of the most common root diseases, Armillaria, annosus and laminated root rots. Stumps often serve as a source of inoculum for these pathogens, leading to higher mortality rates near stumps than elsewhere in a stand.

#4. LOOKS: It can reduce your curb appeal. Tree stumps can be ugly and cause a well-manicured yard to look neglected.

#5. MAKES MOWING HARDER: Aside from the fact that tree stumps can damage your mower, it also makes the whole task harder. Having tree stumps around the yard can be a total nuisance when you do weeding and mowing for obvious reasons

#6. NEW TREE SPROUTS: Usually, there are instances wherein a tree stump causes new tree growth. You may notice that small trees start growing around it sooner or later, and of course, this will make your yard look even less appealing.
